Test Day.
In addition to a final written exam, we also had an interview to prepare for. After I finished the final exam in about 30 minutes (it wasn't too hard at all - even though I found out that I incorrectly answered some questions on the test that were fairly basic...), I had about an hour and a half to prepare for the interview. This was the most terrifying part of my day.
Although I am decent at reading, writing, and listening in Korean, my worst skill is, by far, speaking. Before I speak, I constantly question my use of particles and conjugations and it all just ends up coming out as a mess...
Luckily, we knew most of the interview questions ahead of time, so I had plenty of time to prepare grammatically appropriate responses.
Although my interview was slightly awkward (I tried to joke around with my interviewer a little, but I guess that didn't quite work), I made it through. Not sure what grade I received on the interview, but we'll see in the future...!
After the interview, the next task was finishing my PowerPoint 발표 (presentation) for my culture class later that day. As stated previously, the project I chose to present was about my favorite places in Seoul ("한국에서 제일 좋아하는 장소들"). So, I chose to talk about my experiences at Namsan Tower, the Super Junior concert, Busan, and Yeouido Park. Once I was finished with my presentation, my teacher decided to remind me taht I would be presenting it tomorrow at the graduation ceremony... yay.
That night, my friends and I decided to go out for dinner in order to celebrate our final exams being over. We headed to a delicious grill place in Sinchon and had some delicious 삼겹살(samgyupsal, pork belly), 소주 (soju, Korean vodka), and more. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of our term! But, I couldn't stay out for long... I had a presentation to fix up for tomorrow!
