Yet another day lacking photographic proof... Oh, well.
On Thursday, my friends and I decided to skip our culture class. The previous day, we had visited a Buddhist temple. Today, we were supposed to give a 10-15 minute presentation (in partners) about what we learned. Inevitably, the entire class of 20+ people decided to skip because we really didn't learn anything from our short 15-minute interview with the Buddhist monk the day before. Although it was a fun experience, I don't believe those leading the program planned it out well at all...
Anyways, because we decided not to go, we instead traveled to Myeongdong, our go-to shopping zone! We focused on make-up stores because Korea is known, after all, for its beauty industry (specifically skin care). Once we regretted purchasing the amount of make-up we did, we headed back to campus, grabbed food, and stayed inside for the night.
We decided to finish up some homework and paint our nails downstairs in the basement, talking with friends and just relaxing. When we were walking back from the Sinchon station, I also decided to buy myself a game of gonggi for less than a dollar! So, I entertained myself with games for the rest of the night.
All in all, it was a fairly relaxing day and night with friends!
